To anyone who doesn’t like Taylor Swift. I think you need to reevaluate your opinion. She donated $100,000 to our home town. Hendersonville, TN to rebuild the local play ground.
She made it possible for a new and safer playground to be built for my son to play on. Who by the way, LOVES the park. I had a lot of memories with the old playground, but I’m very happy to have this new one. It’s amazing!! :D

Taylor Swift was invited to attend Kevin McGuire’s prom, but had to turn him down due to her schedule.But, the country singer has asked Kevin, 18, to instead be her date to the American Country Music Awards.
Swift wrote a note to the fan on Twitter, writing, “Kevin I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to make it to your prom. But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up. Would you be my date?”
Kevin, who is suffering from leukemia, said, “Obviously I said yes. The ACM Awards is a lot better than the senior prom.”
McGuire was first diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia when he was thirteen and is battling it for a second time.
Kevin’s sister had the idea, Victoria, had the idea for him to invite Taylor to his prom, setting up a Facebook page that attracted 90,000 visitors.
Victoria updated the Facebook page, writing, “Taylor got back to us. She is unable to attend Kevin’s prom, although did one better – invited Kevin to be her date to the Academy of Country Music Awards! Thank you so so so so so much! The Mcguire family could never show how grateful we are to all of you! We have won in more than one way.. we got Taylor to take Kevin on a date, and we have made so many good friends along the way!”
Taylor Swift is nominated six times at the ACM awards, which will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Los Angeles.
